Section 2 Data Quality
Attribute Accuracy Attribute domains are used on fields were possible to ensure data integrity. Data entry mistakes are corrected as found.
Logical Consistency Test queries are performed to ensure correct values are entered. Topology rules are applied to find and correct polygon spatial errors.
Completeness As new lands are acquired, Forest Inventory is completed as time is available.
Horizontal Positional Accuracy Land boundary lines are snapped to the parcel layer which is plus or minus 3 feet at section corners and quarter corners. Covertype boundaries are digitized on screen over a 1 - 3 foot accuracy aerial imagery and will inherit the horizontal positional accuracy of the imagery.
Vertical Positional Accuracy Not Applicable
Lineage Original data was field collected and is updated on a continuous basis.
